Lucky Dog is the first of the amateur endurance series to return to the newly re-opened Rockingham Speedway & Entertainment Complex, The Rock, on June 29-30, 2024 for “Release the Rock Hounds,” sponsored by Lifeline USA. As a former NASCAR track, the newly paved oval and interior recourse, the 1.5 mile Roval, boasts 10 turns, 25-22 degree banking on turns and 8 degree banking on straight-aways! This event is Race 3 of 4 of the Southern Endurance Cup.
Event requirements
This event is supporting Lucky Dog Racing at Rockingham Speedway. SCCA workers need have some previous experience in F&C or Start. Registrations will be approved by the Flag Chief. SCCA members will be given priority approval for this event. Due to the nature of this enduo event, the number of Starters is limited. Addtional registrants for Start will be asked to staff F&C stations.
This is a 2-day event. Cars will be on course from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM both days. We will go FCY during the enduro each day to deliver lunch. Coolers & water will be provided. Volunteers are eligible for $50/day VIP along with lunches both days and dinner on Saturday. Camping onsite is free.
