2025 RX201 & RallyCross #4 - Milwaukee Region SCCA

Byron Motorsports Park

About this event

RX201 SCHOOL WILL BE LIMITED TO 30 STUDENTS
EVENT WILL BE LIMITED TO 40 DRIVERS

Expanding beyond our RX101 and popular practice days, MKE RallyCross is excited to offer the next step in raising the bar for your performance on course - the RX201 Advanced RallyCross school.

Led by four instructors with many decades of combined experience at all levels of the sport, three National Championships, countless National, Divisional, and Regional championship and podium results - but more importantly keen students of the sport themselves - the focused drills you work on this day will make you faster and give you tools to work from the rest of your career in RallyCross.

The day will begin with a short drivers meeting and then we will head straight to the track where we will first put down a couple baseline lap times. We’ll then rotate between three structured drills for the morning session and three structured drills in the afternoon session before a challenging full course drill and then finish up with a final validation session on the full course to see how its all coming together.

Throughout the day your instructors will be out on course with you - both in their cars and in yours so that we can all learn from each other. We will also have a special guest stopping by to have a chat about the racing mindset to help supercharged your results.

Loaner helmets will be available at no cost - please wear closed toe shoes and ensure your vehicle has working seat belts and a battery hold-down. Snow tires are highly recommended but not required.

Drivers who are 18 or under will receive a $20 discount on all school entries.

Safety Stewards may reject any vehicle at any time over safety concerns. Please pay particular attenttion to items such as working seat belts, throttle return action, secure battery, no excessive oil or antifreeze leaks, adequate brake pedal, tire condition and pressure, tie-rods, and wheel bearings.

  4. On RallyCross event days, all competition vehicles must display their registered race number prominently on both sides of the car with numerals that are at least 6” tall and in a color that has a high contrast to their background. Two-driver cars are reminded to ensure that they have changed their numbers along with each driver swap as runs will be scored against the number displayed.
  5. All adults taking part in an SCCA event as a competitor, on track participant, or volunteer or worker accessing the restricted (hot) areas must sign the SCCA waiver upon arrival or have a digital Annual Minor Waiver on file for the calendar year. There may also be waivers requird by the venue.
  6. All minors (under the age of 18 in WI and IL) taking part in an SCCA event as a competitor, on track participant, or volunteer or
worker with access to restricted (hot) areas must have a digital Annual Minor Waiver on file for the calendar year. An overview of the process that must be followed and the relevant links may be found here.

  8. Closed toe shoes are required (no sandals or flip-flops) while participating in the event.
  9. Helmets are required for all drivers and passengers when on course. See this list of approved certifications. Note that helmets only certified by DOT are not eligible. If you don't know the rating of your helmet the certification label should be on the back at the rear or inside underneath the padding. We do have limited loaners available. Approved helmets can be purchased at online retailers and at local race shops such as Pegasus Auto Racing Supplies and Northstar Motorsports.
